1. Acceptance

Cloudy ("the Software") is a free, open-source desktop application. By downloading, installing or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

The Software is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later). Your rights to use, modify and redistribute it are governed by that license. These terms supplement, but do not replace, the GPL.

3. No affiliation

Cloudy is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Google, or any other provider. "Microsoft 365", "OneDrive", "SharePoint", "Teams", "Gmail" and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe interoperability.

4. Third-party services

Cloudy connects to services operated by Microsoft and Google. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for ensuring you are permitted to access the accounts and data you connect, and for complying with your organization's policies.

5. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, as set out in the GPL. You use it at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any claim, damages, data loss, or other liability arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated over time; the current version is always the one published on this page.
